The Technical Board of the Nigeria Anti-Doping Centre was approved by Mr President, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces. Its members bring together experience in law, sport administration, medicine, athletics, and community welfare to guide the Centre's work in protecting clean sport across Nigeria.
Chairman
Ondo, South West
Hon. R.O. Kazeem is a lawyer and former member of the House of Representatives. He also served as Commissioner of Agriculture in Ondo State and as a member of the Ondo State Independent Electoral Commission. He served as chairman of the Nigeria Anti-Doping Committee and led the effort that produced the initial draft of the bill establishing the Centre. His experience in peace and conflict resolution, and in community development, brings substantial value to the work of the NADC.

Kebbi, North West
Mallam Illo is a graduate of Biochemistry with wide experience in sport management, broadcasting, and anti-doping services. He served two terms on the Board of the Nigerian Anti-Doping Committee and took part in drafting the bill that became the current NADC Act. His sport administration record includes serving as CEO of the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2009, Deputy CEO of the 8th All Africa Games, and roles across the 2008 Beijing Olympics and the 2002 Commonwealth Games, among other assignments with the Nigeria Football Federation and the Nigeria Olympic Committee. He has attended every major international sporting event, from the Olympic and Commonwealth Games to the FIFA World Cup and the Africa Cup of Nations.

Kogi, North Central
Barr. Okolo retired from the Federal Civil Service as Director, Legal Services, at the Federal Ministry of Justice in 2023, after rising through every senior legal position from Legal Officer 1. He served as legal adviser across eight ministries and agencies, including the National Sports Commission, working on assignments such as the 10th FIFA World Youth Championship in Nigeria and the 5th All Africa Games in Cairo. He was a member of the Board of the Nigeria Anti-Doping Committee and helped draft and edit the NADC Bill that led to the creation of the Centre.

Kano, North West
Dr. Gyaran is currently Director, Sport Medicine, at the National Sport Commission. He is a sport and exercise physician with a postgraduate qualification in exercise medicine, and has served for several years as physician to Nigeria's elite athletes. He has long served as Team Director of the Super Eagles of Nigeria. Before moving into sport medicine, he practised as a general physician at the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, Kano.

Kwara, North Central
Mr. Ayorinde is a pharmacist with a postgraduate qualification in anti-doping who retired from the Federal Civil Service as a Deputy Director. He served as CEO of the Nigeria Anti-Doping Committee for several years and has attended numerous anti-doping courses. He was a member of the last Board of the Nigeria Anti-Doping Committee and took part in drafting the NADC Bill that culminated in the NADC Act.

Bauchi, North East
Rtd. Col. Abbas Mohammed was a long-distance runner across the 5,000m, 10,000m, cross country, and marathon disciplines, with National and International honours including first place finishes at the 1986 Los Angeles International Marathon, the 1986 World 442 Race in New York, and the 1989 West Africa Cross Country Race, alongside the National Sports Festival and the Armed Forces Games. His career in the Nigerian Army carried him through several leadership roles in physical education and sport, and he has remained active in sport and athletics welfare development since retiring.

Rev. Dr. J. C. Okoroji, currently the lead pastor at First Baptist Church, Warri, Delta State, is a graduate of the University of Ibadan and holds a PhD from Kogi State University. He served as a member of the Ethics Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation and as a long-standing member of the Delta State Christian Welfare Board. An avid follower of sport with a keen interest in the welfare of young athletes, he brings strong skills in mediation and concession-making, and a gentle but firm approach well suited to education and counselling on doping.

Enugu, South East
Mrs. Aloke is a lawyer specialising in corporate and family law, and holds a postgraduate diploma in Refugee and International Humanitarian Law. Her experience providing legal services to refugees, asylum seekers, and other vulnerable persons and groups, alongside her work in conflict resolution and group therapy, is of direct value to the work of the NADC. She is also a keen sports enthusiast with knowledge of current developments in sport law.
