About NADC

The National Anti-Doping Committee (NADC) is currently Nigeria’s National Anti-Doping Organization (NADO).

NADC was established on 11th October 2011 with the mandate to promote, coordinate and monitor the fight against doping in sports in Nigeria.

To this end, we work with various stakeholders to protect the rights of athletes protect the rights to enjoy dope free sports in Nigeria.

On the global level, we are committed to supporting efforts aimed at addressing doping in a manner that ensures the culture of ethics and fair play is fostered.


Nigeria is a sports loving nation filled sports loving youths. NADC is therefore not only passionate to keep sports clean in Nigeria but we want our young and vibrant athletes to be known all over the world for their stance against doping and their pride to keep true our slogan: “I Play True 4 Naija”.

Since its establishment, NADC is focused on anti-doping administration in Nigeria that:

  1. Protects athletes and other participants in sports in Nigeria by providing a level playing field for all to participate in sports
  2. Promotes dope-free sports
  3. Adheres to internationally harmonized standards in testing and anti-doping education across the country

The Committee is presently governed by a Board of seasoned individuals who are free of conflict of interest and committed to upholding the vision and principles on which the NADC was established:
